As Samurai Farai, every piece I create is made with intention and care — whether it’s an artwork, a print, a garment, or a collectible. As an independent artist, I take pride in the quality of what I make and how it reaches you. If something isn’t right when it arrives, I’m here to help make it right.

Returns & Exchanges

Eligibility for Returns or Exchanges

To qualify:

  • Items must be in unused, unworn, and original condition

  • All labels, certificates, tags, and packaging must still be included

  • Items must not show any signs of wear, handling, or damage

  • The request must be made within 7 days of delivery

Category-Specific Return Rules

1. Original Artworks (Paintings, Drawings, Mixed Media)

Original artworks are non-returnable and non-exchangeable
Because each piece is unique, one-of-one, and vulnerable to handling damage, we cannot accept returns unless the item arrives damaged.

If your artwork arrives damaged, email us within 48 hours:

2. Fine Art Prints

✔️ Returnable / exchangeable within 7 days only if:

  • The print is unframed

  • Has not been handled, bent, scratched, or exposed to moisture

  • Arrives back to us in original, secure packaging

Non-returnable if:

  • The print was framed or mounted

  • The print was custom-sized or part of a special order

  • Damage occurred after delivery

3. Artwear Clothing

✔️ Eligible for return or exchange if unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and in original packaging.

❌ Non-returnable if:

  • Worn, washed, marked, stretched, or damaged

  • Tags or labels have been removed

  • Item shows fragrance, deodorant, makeup, or wear marks

  • Sold as a final-sale item

4. Limited Edition Jewellery

✔️ Eligible if unworn, unhandled, and sealed in original packaging.

❌ Non-returnable if:

  • Worn or tried on

  • Packaging seal broken

  • Scratched or damaged

  • Certificates missing

Non-Refundable Items

Refunds cannot be issued for:

  • Original artworks (unless damaged on arrival)

  • Final-sale or discounted items

  • Personalised, custom, or made-to-order items

  • Items without original packaging or certificates

How to Request a Return

Email info@samuraifarai.com

with:

  1. Order number

  2. Item(s) you want to return

  3. Reason for return

  4. Photos/video if damaged

We will respond within 1–3 business days.

Shipping for Returns

  • Customer is responsible for return shipping unless item was damaged or incorrect

  • Use tracked and insured shipping

  • We are not liable for lost/damaged returns

Refund Processing

Refunds (when eligible) are processed within 7–10 business days after inspection.

Refunds are available for eligible items in accordance with our Returns & Exchanges Policy.

Refund Eligibility

A refund may be issued if:

  • Your return is approved

  • The item is received in perfect, original condition

  • Packaging, tags, and certificates are intact

  • The item passes inspection

  • The return meets all conditions for its product category

Non-Refundable Items

Refunds cannot be issued for:

  • Original artworks (one-of-one pieces)

  • Sale / discounted items

  • Custom or personalised items

  • Items showing wear, handling damage, or missing packaging

  • Items returned after the 7-day window

Refund Method

Approved refunds will be returned to:

  • Your original method of payment

  • Within 7–10 business days

  • Processing times may vary by bank/payment provider

Refunds for Damaged Items

If your item arrives damaged:

  • Contact info@samuraifarai.com  within 48 hours

    • Include unboxing photos/video

    • We will replace, refund, or resolve based on availability

    Original artworks may be refunded only if damaged during transit.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund:

  1. Check with your bank/payment provider

  2. Check your payment method’s processing timeline
