As part of Rati’s Dying to Self – 19.08.24 shoot. This visual collaboration between Rati$upremacy and Samurai Farai explores themes of transformation, identity, and emotional release. The project captures Rati$upremacy embodying a bold new self while mourning the version of herself shaped by fear and anxiety. Tears in the imagery are symbolic—tears of relief—marking the emotional release that comes with letting go. Combining body art, custom-painted jeans and shoes, and conceptual hairstyling, the shoot reflects a ritual of rebirth. Farai’s visual direction and creative input helped shape the atmosphere and symbolism of the project, reinforcing the message of self-liberation and inner evolution.
